Your Solar generation is not as expected? What can you do??

Actually Solar generation depends on Solar irradiation, and it is affected by weather.

But how to justify if your low generation is because of the weather problem?

For large PV systems, the Weather Station will be installed to record the daily irradiation data for Performance Ratio (PR) checking.

Contractor actually guarantees on the PR instead of the quantity of electricity generated.

PR will tell you how efficient your PV system converts sun to electricity compared to the maximum the system can do.

And PR is not affected by the weather.

But weather stations are expensive and not financially feasible for small systems..

Thus, for a small system, you need generation data from other people near you. So everyone can cross check if their generation makes sense.

If you have data, contractors can’t simply push it to weather problems.

Come build the generation database for your own benefits.
